Mr Swindells said “I am honoured to be appointed Chairman of HLB International’s Audit Working Group. The increasing globalisation of auditing standards and the complexity of audit requirements places increased responsibility on audit firms, including HLBI’s member firms.

"The work of the Audit Working Group with the member firms of the HLBI network continues to be a vital resource to ensure the quality, timeliness and compliance of audit work for clients of HLBI’s member firms, and the availability of high quality audit services across the globe.”

The HLBI Audit Working Group is responsible for the HLBI Quality Assurance Programme and the production of the network’s Audit and Assurance Manual and other tools available to HLBI member firms, enabling them to comply with International Auditing Standards and offering a high quality transnational audit service to its international member firm clients.
